WE GOT THE PINK!
We're overjoyed to tell you that we've been given the clearance to travel to Guatemala to pick up Cole. The US Embassy issued our "pink slip" today--an appointment slip detailing the time we must arrive at the Embassy with Cole to verify the adoption and pick up his travel documents. Both Merry and I are in a state of shock and gitty happiness! We toasted to the "pink" tonight with a bottle of rose Champagne and called friends and family...more calls and emails to come over the next few days.
Still more preparation to come since he has ballooned almost overnight to 24.5llbs! He has outgrown the car seat, carrier and alot of the clothes we bought him. What are they feeding that kid...Pollo Campero? (The Guatemalan equivalent to Atlanta's Chik-Fil-A)
